Our Wild Apricot site replaces our WordPress website and our ProClass membership and registration service in a single tightly coupled environment. Since most members will want to use online registration and payment, they have site logins and will be coming here quarterly to register for classes and to pick up additional classes.
By having a central subscribed member website, we are able to offer meeting calendars, meeting registration (RSVP), and distribute meeting agendas and minutes on the site. Invitation Emails may be sent to participant groups such as the Board or standing committee members much as we do now with class notifications.
Committee communications are centralized facilitating record retention. Any item can be made publicly visible or restricted to the members at large or defined member groups such as the executive committee and committee chairmen.
The website also maintains a log of approved resolutions and their text. This insures that all board members and committee chairs have access to the actual text of approved resolutions.
